Classification of 1. by use

Knitted fabrics can be divided into two kinds of underwear fabrics and outerwear fabrics according to their uses. Underwear fabric is characterized by fit, elastic, comfortable, convenient movement, good softness, good moisture absorption and permeability, good wrinkle resistance, but the fabric is easy to loose, poor dimensional stability, easy to hook silk, pilling. Varieties are weft flat needle, mesh fabric, double rib, single rib, velvet and so on. The outerwear fabric is characterized by strong wear resistance, small shrinkage, easy to wash and elastic.

2. according to the production process classification

1. Weft-knitted fabric

Weft knitting fabric adopts flat needle organization, changing flat needle organization, rib flat needle organization, double rib flat needle organization, jacquard organization, loop organization, etc., which are woven on various weft knitting machines. It can be formed with at least one yarn, but in order to improve production efficiency, multiple yarns are generally used for knitting.

2. Warp knitted fabric

Warp knitted fabrics cannot be formed with one yarn. It needs to be made with multiple yarns to form loops along the longitudinal sequence of the cloth surface at the same time. This is because one yarn can only form a circle composed of one loop. Warp-knitted fabric has the advantages of good longitudinal dimensional stability, crisp fabric, small detachment, no curling, good air permeability, etc., but its transverse extension, elasticity and softness are not as good as weft-knitted fabric.

1. Polyester yarn-dyed knitted fabric

Polyester yarn-dyed knitted fabric is dyed low-elastic polyester yarn as raw material, according to the design requirements of the configuration of different colors, the use of jacquard tissue, woven into 3 to 6 colors or even more color pattern. Common patterns are strip, grid, flowers, figures, animals, landscapes, geometric patterns, etc. The fabric has bright color, beautiful appearance, color matching and harmony, tight and thick texture, clear weave, strong sense of wool, and a style similar to wool fabric tweed. Mainly used as men's and women's tops, suits, trench coats, vests, skirts, cotton-padded jacket fabrics, children's clothing, etc.

2. Polyester knitted labor fabric

Polyester knitted labor fabric, also known as polyester knitted denim, is made of low-elasticity polyester yarn as raw material, one of which is thicker dyed navy blue and the other is thinner, which is woven with jacquard weave. The surface of the fabric is sandwiched with uniform and small natural color points in navy blue. This fabric is tight and thick, strong and durable, crisp and elastic. If the raw material contains spandex core-spun yarn, it can be woven into stretch knitted denim, better elasticity. Mainly used as men's and women's top and trousers.

3. Polyester knitted corduroides fabric

The polyester knitted corduroy strip fabric is made of low-elastic polyester yarn as raw material and is woven with a changing double rib weave. In the knitting, every several longitudinal loops to pull out 1~2 needle, so that the cloth surface presents wide and narrow, uneven straight stripes. The thickness of the stripes can be determined as required. This kind of fabric is concave and convex, feels thick and plump, and has good elasticity and warmth retention. Mainly used as men's and women's jackets, suits, windbreaker, children's clothing and other fabrics.

4. Polyester-covered cotton knitted fabric

Polyester-covered cotton knitted fabric is a kind of double rib composite polyester-cotton interwoven fabric. It uses polyester yarn woven fabric front, cotton yarn woven fabric back, through the ring will be connected to the front and back. The fabric is dyed for shirts, jackets and sportswear fabrics. This fabric is crisp, anti-wrinkle, strong and wear-resistant, close-fitting side moisture-absorbing and breathable, soft and comfortable.
